Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we get from students just like you.
Most popular questions
Studying abroad is a big step to take. All students get nervous about starting a new course but for international students you will be getting used to a new country, new city and potentially another language and or accent. All of these things add up to an incredible adventure! However, it's a great idea to talk openly about any concerns you have before applying with your family as well as one of our counsellors so that you are confident and ready to take the next step. Chatting to other friends or teachers who have also studied overseas will also give you some valuable tips and real-life advice to consider.
Students like you come to us for advice and help on everything from choosing a study country, university or course as well as course application assistance. We also provide advice on accommodation options, visa applications and even link you up with other support partners such as property rental agents and student/alumni associations.
Counsellors are experts and qualified to give you the outmost service.
Our experienced NAMS counsellors will help you put together your application and certify the supporting documents. Your counsellor will then submit your application on your behalf to your university or institution of choice.
You can schedule an appointment with one of our counsellors by completing an online inquiry or calling us. We also welcome walk-ins on weekdays (Monday – Friday) between 9.00 am and 10.00 pm. Saturday 9.00 am- 12.30 pm
You’ll need to bring documents to verify your identity (valid passport) and school (or academic) transcripts. This will help your counsellor streamline your application.
NAMS accesses more than 700 universities in 29 countries. You can apply to any of the 38 Australian public universities (including all Group of Eight universities), all the eight New Zealand universities, the majority of UK universities (including the Russell Group) and many quality US and Canadian schools. And many more options.
We don’t charge any student fees for consultations with our counsellors and there are no hidden charges.
It takes from two to six weeks (or less) to process a course application. It may take longer if it is during peak period or a holiday season. We know this can feel like a really long wait! You just have to keep calm and hope for the best.
